KANZA offers “open access” to start services in its Hiawatha and Holton offices. Persons can call or come into either of these offices without an appointment during regular business hours between 9 AM and 4 PM to speak to a license psychotherapist and seek help for a mental health problem. Persons may call ahead to identify the time that day that is available for them or may schedule an appointment if needed.
This initial assessment session is completed within one to one and a half hours. The first treatment session is scheduled within 3-5 business days unless earlier is clinically indicated. Psychiatric medication evaluation and follow-up services are scheduled following the beginning of treatment. Persons who present with a mental health emergency are seen immediately.
Persons with a question about KANZA’s services are encouraged to call 785-742-7113. For persons in Jackson County, please call 785-364-4536.
KANZA Partners with Mirror Inc. Mirror provides these services in KANZA’s Hiawatha, and Troy Offices.
