Support Group Meeting

At Kanza Mental Health & Guidance Center, group therapy provides a supportive and encouraging environment where individuals can connect with others facing similar challenges. Led by trained mental health professionals, group therapy offers opportunities to share experiences, build coping skills, gain new perspectives, and learn from the support of peers.

Group therapy can be an effective part of treatment for a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance use, stress management, grief, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Participants are encouraged to engage at their own comfort level while benefiting from a safe, respectful, and confidential setting.

Our groups are designed to promote healing, resilience, and connection while helping individuals develop practical skills to support their mental health and overall well-being.

Whether used on its own or alongside individual therapy and other services, group therapy can be a valuable step toward recovery and a healthier tomorrow.

Survivors Thriving after Bullying Art

Survivors Thriving After Bullying Art is a creative and empowering activity that provides individuals with an opportunity to express their experiences, emotions, strengths, and personal growth through art. Participants are encouraged to reflect on their journey, recognize their resilience, and celebrate the ways they have overcome challenges related to bullying.

Through artistic expression, individuals can explore feelings in a safe and supportive environment while building self-confidence, self-awareness, and healthy coping skills. This activity focuses not only on the impact of bullying but also on healing, hope, and the strength it takes to move forward.

By transforming difficult experiences into meaningful artwork, participants are reminded that they are more than what they have been through—they are survivors who continue to grow, thrive, and inspire others through their resilience.
