Medical Services

Mental health care is not one-size-fits-all. For some individuals, medication can be an important part of a comprehensive treatment plan. At Kanza Mental Health & Guidance Center, our medical providers partner with clients to evaluate their needs, discuss treatment options, and provide ongoing medication management in a supportive and compassionate environment. Our goal is to help each person achieve greater stability, wellness, and quality of life through individualized care.

Happy Patient

Our Medication Support services are designed to help individuals safely and effectively manage their medications while receiving ongoing guidance and support throughout their treatment journey.

Services include:

  • Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessments: Our experienced nurse practitioners conduct thorough evaluations to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on your individual mental health needs.

  • Medication Management: We provide ongoing monitoring and medication adjustments to ensure your treatment remains effective while minimizing potential side effects.

  • Medication Refills: Our team assists with medication refill requests to help ensure continuity of care and uninterrupted access to prescribed medications.

  • Injection Services: We offer medication injection services as prescribed by your provider to support ongoing treatment and promote medication adherence.

  • Medication Safety Resources: Personal medication lock boxes may be available to help promote the safe storage and secure keeping of medications.

  • Medication Disposal: Kanza offers a safe and convenient disposal site for expired, unused, or unwanted medications to help protect individuals, families, and the community.

Our goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care that supports your mental health and overall well-being throughout every stage of treatment.

GeneSight testing provides genetic insights to help clinicians personalize treatment plans, potentially reducing trial-and-error and speeding up recovery. It analyzes how genes may influence medication outcomes or increase the risk of side effects, using a simple, non-invasive cotton swab.
